Accelerated Learning — Our Main Program to Educate and Empower Afghanistan’s Youth

Through structured learning programs and dedicated teachers, the Uthman ibn Affan (RA) Foundation for Education and Development provides thousands of children across Afghanistan the opportunity to read, learn, and grow — turning ignorance into empowerment.

Accelerated Learning

The Uthman ibn Affan (RA) Foundation for Education and Development believes that education is the foundation of every genuine revival, and that eradicating illiteracy is the key to empowerment and human development.
With this conviction, the Institute launched its Accelerated Learning Program to provide children and youth who were deprived of formal schooling with a second chance to pursue knowledge and faith.

The program is implemented in three six-month phases, benefiting more than six thousand students across several Afghan provinces. Each phase is conducted in a safe and organized learning environment, supervised by qualified teachers, and supported with free educational materials — ensuring that learning remains a journey of light, not a financial burden on families.

This program aims to cultivate an educated and value-driven generation — one that carries knowledge as a mission, ethics as a way of life, and faith as the foundation for rebuilding their nation.

Target Audience

The program serves children and youth aged eight to twenty-five who have been unable to access formal education due to economic, social, or security challenges.
It places special emphasis on girls and low-income families in remote areas — upholding the firm belief that education is the right of every human being, and that a nation cannot rise while any of its children remain uneducated.
