Health and Medical Services
The Uthman ibn Affan (RA) Foundation for Education and Development believes that health is a pillar of human dignity, and that caring for the sick is an act of worship equal in virtue to educating the young.
With this conviction, the Institute launched its Health and Medical Services Program to deliver essential care and humanitarian support to vulnerable families and communities across Afghanistan — especially in rural and underserved areas.
The program combines direct medical assistance, health awareness, and rapid emergency response, ensuring that the Institute remains present where the need is greatest and hope is weakest.

Services

Support for Patients and Health Centers
Essential medicines and medical supplies are procured and distributed to impoverished patients and rural health centers, particularly during emergencies and natural disasters.
All distributions are conducted under close supervision to ensure that assistance reaches those most in need, reducing hardship and restoring dignity.

Building Sustainable Health Awareness
The Institute regularly organizes training sessions and awareness workshops on personal hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, and mental health.
These initiatives aim to improve community well-being, promote healthy lifestyles, and empower families to protect themselves through knowledge and preventive care.

Rapid Medical Action in Crisis Situations
During natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, mobile medical teams are deployed to deliver immediate aid — including on-site treatment, patient evacuation, and distribution of emergency medical kits.
This humanitarian pillar reflects the Institute’s readiness and compassion, ensuring that help arrives when it is needed most.

Partnerships for Community Well-being
The Uthman ibn Affan (RA) Foundation for Education and Development actively cooperates with the Ministry of Public Health and both local and international organizations to enhance the quality of medical care and implement joint humanitarian projects nationwide.
These collaborations are guided by the Institute’s core values of transparency, integrity, and collective service for the betterment of society.
