Public and Social Welfare
Alongside its educational and health initiatives, the Uthman ibn Affan (RA) Foundation for Education and Development has established a dedicated department for public and social welfare — ensuring the Institute stands beside people during their most difficult times.
Its mission is to support families affected by natural disasters and humanitarian crises and to strengthen solidarity and compassion within the Muslim community, in the spirit of the Qur’anic command:
“And cooperate in righteousness and piety.”

Fieldwork and Compassion in Times of Hardship
Following the devastating earthquake in Kunar Province, the Institute mobilized all available resources to provide urgent relief to affected students and families.
Volunteer teams reached the disaster zones to distribute food, clothing, medicine, and essential supplies among survivors.
This humanitarian effort reflected the Institute’s deep commitment to Islamic principles of mercy, solidarity, and service to those in need — making humanitarian action an integral part of its social and spiritual mission.
Future Programs
Toward a Nationwide Relief System
The organization is expanding its relief efforts into a structured, nationwide system for emergency and humanitarian response.
In the event of any natural disaster — earthquake, flood, or crisis — emergency and medical teams will be promptly dispatched to the affected regions to deliver rapid assistance and ensure protection for displaced families and children.
This initiative aims to build sustainable institutional capacity that enables swift and efficient humanitarian action.
